...........to Venø Harbour for the summerseason. We look forward to recieving a lot of guests, hoping for perfect sailors-weather.
The entry conditions are improved this year in the month of April. The entry depth is now 2,5 m.

The old Venø ferry, "Venøsund", is permanently moored in Venø Harbour. The privat feryy guild has set up a small exhibition in the first fishing shack near the corner berth, where the ferry is. Everybody is welcome to take a look at "Venøsund" aswell as the exhibition.

Venø Harbour is a very special little place that offers something old and something new. The commitee of the harbour hopes for everyone to have a nice stay and good experiences at the harbour aswell as on Venø. There are ongoing efforts to improve facilities and harbour entry conditions.

At the Harbour House shop and café  there is a Wi-Fi connection, which also covers a large part of the harbour area. Connection can be arranged with the harbour master at the Harbour House.

From the harbour there is easy and comfortable access to Venø´s lovely landscapes with beaches on both the east and west side of the island. There are countless opportunities for wonderful excursions on foot or by bike. At the Harbour House there is a stand with brochures. Venø Inn is located 100 meters up the road, north of the harbor. Almost 100 years ago Venø Harbour was established by the island´s fishermen and farmers to serve as a fishing port. Today, sailboats and individual anglers characterise the scene. The harbour is home to Venø Efterskoles sailing courses with a number of dinghies and surfing equipment at the north side of the harbour.
